Submission Guidelines

Thank you for considering submitting your work to our literary contest. To ensure that the submissions process runs smoothly and efficiently, we have established the following submissions policy:

Eligibility: The contest is open to all writers and artists, regardless of age, nationality, or experience level. However, employees and family members of the organizers are not eligible to enter.

Submission Guidelines: All submissions must be original, previously unpublished works that are not under consideration elsewhere. Each writer or artist may submit up to three entries in any or all of the categories (essays, poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and illustrations).

Formatting: All submissions must be in English, double-spaced, and in 12-point font. Essays, fiction, and nonfiction must be no longer than 2,500 words. Poetry may be up to 3 pages long, single-spaced. Illustrations must be high-resolution images in JPEG or PNG format.

Entry Fee: There is an entry fee of $20 for each submission. This fee is non-refundable, and payment must be made through our online payment portal.

Judging: All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges selected by the organizers. The judging process will be anonymous, and each entry will be evaluated based on its literary and artistic merit.

Prizes: The top entry in each category will receive a cash prize of $250, and the winning entries will be published in our online literary journal. Honorable mentions may also be selected, and those entries will be published on our website.

Copyright: All submissions will remain the property of the respective authors and artists. However, by submitting their work, authors and artists grant the organizers the right to publish their work in our online literary journal and on our website.

Notification: Winners will be notified by email and announced on our website. We regret that we cannot provide feedback on individual entries.

Deadline: Submissions will be accepted from (TBD) to (TBD), 202X. Entries must be received by 11:59 PM EST on (TBD). Please refer to the select contest for submission deadlines.

We appreciate your interest in our literary contest, and we look forward to reading your submissions!
